Vintage Italian Florentine Madonna del Granduca Wall Plaque, Gilt Wood, Palazzo Pitti, Raphael Print

This beautiful vintage Italian Florentine wall plaque features Raphael's much-loved Madonna del Granduca, depicting the Virgin Mary tenderly holding the Christ Child.

The print is mounted within a hand-decorated Florentine gilt wooden frame, richly embellished with traditional punched scrollwork. The warm golden finish and classical Renaissance image make this a striking decorative piece, equally suited to a period home, gallery wall, or devotional setting.

The original label remains on the reverse, identifying the image as Madonna del Granduca by Raphael and showing it was sold through the gift shop of the Palazzo Pitti in Florence, Italy.

The plaque displays well and retains its original hanging hook. I have show the plaque side by side with a smaller one, to show it's larger size. The smaller one is also for sale in the shop.

The reverse retains its original label identifying the image as Madonna del Granduca by Raphael and referencing Palazzo Pitti in Florence, home to the original masterpiece.

Condition is good vintage condition with gentle age-related wear and patina to the gilt finish, adding to its authentic character. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
