Vintage Belgian Police Inspector Cap – POLFEDPOL Seymour Brussels Size 56

An authentic vintage Belgian police inspector’s peaked cap, produced by Seymour of Brussels and marked POLFEDPOL.

Made from dark navy blue synthetic fabric, the cap is finished with silver piping around the crown and a formal silver chin cord with decorative knots and polished side buttons. The front bears the embroidered Belgian police flame insignia together with a red and silver crown emblem.

The interior has a brown perforated leatherette sweatband and a diamond-shaped Seymour label. The internal markings include “POLFEDPOL 56” and the number “05-2320-22.” The “05” appears to indicate manufacture in 2005.

A striking piece of European police memorabilia, suitable for a uniform collection, theatrical display or decorative use.
