Antique French Hand Painted Folding Double Photo Frame c.1900

A charming antique French folding double photograph frame dating from around 1900, beautifully hand painted with delicate floral sprays and romantic decorative details.

Crafted from wood with a warm honey-coloured finish, each side is decorated with finely painted flowers including forget-me-nots and pink roses. One panel features a picturesque bridge and landscape vignette, while the other bears an elegant monogram, giving the piece a wonderfully personal and decorative character.

The frame is designed to display two photographs and stands independently thanks to its folding construction. A decorative metal hinge joins the two sections and allows the frame to be adjusted to the desired angle for display.
