Antique French bénitier, or wall-mounted holy water font, set on a mahogany plaque. It features an unusual raised gold-tone cross with dark infill, a bronze figure of Christ, and an ornate enamel-lined font with a fitted lid.

A hanging ring is fitted to the back. This striking devotional piece shows signs of age-related wear and remains in very good condition.
