A lovely antique silver holy water font featuring the Virgin and Child within an ornate decorative frame.

The design has a gentle devotional feel, with draped garlands, small columns, and a domed basin below for holy water. The Madonna and Child are beautifully detailed and surrounded by soft radiant lines.

The font is hallmarked silver and was sourced in Spain, a country well known for its religious silverwork. The silver has a soft natural patina. Early 1900s.
