Antique French Chinoiserie Faux Bamboo Mirror c.1900

A charming antique French vertical faux bamboo mirror dating from around the turn of the twentieth century. Crafted from wood and finished in warm honey and chestnut tones, the frame has been designed to imitate natural bamboo, a style that was highly fashionable during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods and closely associated with the Chinoiserie and Aesthetic Movement interiors of the era.
