Antique Black Forest Carved Wooden Casket with Floral Decoration

This beautiful antique wooden casket has a wonderfully rich dark finish and deeply carved floral decoration, giving it a striking Gothic or Black Forest feel. The raised flowers and foliage across the lid and front panels create lovely depth and texture, while the deep blue lined interior adds a dramatic contrast when opened.

A decorative and unusual piece, ideal for storing jewellery, letters, rosaries, keepsakes, or treasured small items. It would also make a lovely statement piece in a period or eclectic interior.

The box stands on small bun feet and retains its original interior lining and brass hinges. The key is no longer present, but the box closes neatly.
