Antique Spanish Holy Family Cross Pendant Dated 1919 with Silver Chain

A lovely antique Spanish devotional cross pendant, engraved "Abril 1919" on the reverse, giving it a wonderful date and a real sense of history.

The cross is made with striking black inset panels and is centred by a detailed Holy Family medallion showing Mary, Joseph and the Christ Child. The reverse bears the engraved date "Abril 1919", suggesting it was given or owned at that time.

It is suspended from a later hallmarked silver chain which complements the piece beautifully.
